Doug Fontaine
Most people know me for my love of cars, my past employment history and my continual strive for meeting new people in the community. I started my networking at an early age with my hobby, antique Volkswagens. At the age of sixteen I would regularly attend Cars shows of all sorts from Maine to North Carolina this helped me work my way from Member to Vice President and eventually to President of a nation wide VW Club, as well as Cruise Night Director for the Franklin County Fair, all along the way gaining connections and most importantly friends.
I’ve always loved working with public and have been a supporter of local business. I started out my employment history with a great company many of you may have known as GBI Marketing. Working there is where I gained the appreciation for supporting the local economy. GBI Marketing and the people who worked with in, was just an amazing opportunity and experience for me to have had. From there I had decided to go for something I felt a bit more passionate about, cars! For several years I worked in auto sales for a couple local dealerships. My skills and ability to network were strengthened by the caliber of customers, dealer to dealer relationships, and the people I worked with. The opportunity I had to work in the auto industry was great but I had realized that I would like to keep cars as a hobby rather than a profession.
Which brings me here, to Maniatty Real Estate. This is where my "calling" is and has opened me up even more as a professional and has allowed me to utilize the resources I have been building from some time ago. With a continual growth of client basis, local connections, and the drive to help out the my fellow neighbors, I have found being a Realtor very rewarding and challenging. I’m looking forward to serving the our Local Community for many years, and look forward to some day assisting you in the Purchase and/or Sale of your Home, Land, or Commercial Property.
